The board of reinsurance giant Swiss Re proposes re-electing incumbent Chairman Sergio B. Ermotti at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) of shareholders on April 12.

In addition, Vanessa Lau and Pia Teichhauser are nominated as new board members. Renato Fassbind and Susan L. Wagner are not running for re-election.

The proposed election shall be for all of the aforementioned for a period of one year. Ermotti has been part of the Swiss Re Board of Directors since 2020 and Chairman since 2021.
