Actor and director Satish Kaushik was cremated in Oshiwara, Mumbai, on Thursday night, the ANI news agency reported. The 66-year-old filmmaker died in New Delhi, allegedly of a heart attack. Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ishaan Khatter, Pankaj Tripathi, Shehnaaz Gill and others arrived at Satish Kaushik’s Mumbai residence to pay their last respects to the actor and filmmaker who died in New Delhi. supposedly from a heart attack. Satish Kaushik arrived in Delhi on Wednesday to attend a close friend’s Holi party. However, later, around 1 am, he suffered a heart attack while on his way to the hospital. Anupam Kher told PTI: “He felt uncomfortable and told the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1am.”
One day before his death, Satish Kaushik celebrated Holi with his industry friends at Javed Akhtar’s residence in Mumbai.
Satish Kaushik was an actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter. He is known for his roles as Calendar in mr indiaPappu pager in deewana mastanaand Chanu Ahmed in the British film by Sarah Gavron brick lane. In addition, he twice won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian: in 1990 for ram lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.
