Drew Barrymore is revealing the most prized possession she keeps in her dressing room and introducing her as an Oscar-winning child star and director.
The host and executive producer of The Drew Barrymore Show said The Wall Street Journal in an interview posted online Thursday that his favorite thing in his dressing room is a “photo of me and Steven Spielberg on the set of Eastern Time”
He Charlie’s Angels The actress played Gertie in the Spielberg-directed film, Elliot’s (Henry Thomas) little sister, who helps the friendly alien return to his home planet.
“Not having a father, not having that kind of relationship with anybody, he was just so good and loving and kind,” she continued. “We still have a really wonderful relationship. I thank him because if he hadn’t chosen me, I think my life would be very different. It’s crazy when you can actually trace it back to someone.

During a recent interview in The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The FabelmansThe director said, “For the most part Eastern Time It’s a pretty perfect movie.”
“Sometimes I see things that I intended to do that I didn’t do, and sometimes I see things that would have been a better idea than what I see now all these years later,” he added. “But … [E.T. is] one of the few movies I’ve made that I can look back on over and over again.”
