You may have noticed that the Washington Capitals-New York Rangers game looked a little different. Was he playing cricket for Green Rangers?
Tuesday’s game was the first production of its kind: a live hockey game was presented in real time in an animated series recreating the action on the ice at Madison Square Garden. It features characters from the Disney animated series “Big City Greens”, which debuted in 2018.
Mika Zibenjad opened the scoring and New York never looked back as the Rangers went on to win the game 5–3.
