Alia Bhatt, the talented Bollywood actress has finally returned to work after her maternity leave. The popular star resumed her work last month with the Kashmiri schedule of her upcoming rom-com Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Alia Bhatt married her longtime partner, actor Ranbir Kapoor, in April 2022, and the couple welcomed her first daughter, Raha, in November of the same year. However, her marriage and motherhood have not prevented Alia from remaining active in her acting career.
Alia Bhatt loves reading stories to Raha
In her recent chat with Elle magazine, Alia Bhatt spoke at length about how Raha’s arrival changed her life. According to the talented actress, she loves putting together a color-coordinated wardrobe for her little daughter, like most of her new moms. However, what Alia enjoys the most is reading books for baby Raha. Interestingly, Alia revealed that Raha listens to her carefully, even though she is still a baby.
“She’s quite young right now. But I love reading books while listening carefully,” the popular star said. Interestingly, Raha’s love of stories has now inspired her doting mother to launch storybooks for her brand, Ed-A-Mamma. “I’m planning to launch storybooks soon. I have a couple of ideas, but I’m not very good with language. So I may write them or not. But, my sister Shaheen Bhatt will definitely be a part of this. The idea is to launch a series of nine books, which are based on emotions such as joy, kindness and hope”, explained Alia Bhatt in her talk with Elle magazine.

2022 was a fantastic year for Alia Bhatt, including on her career front. Alia Bhatt had the biggest solo box office success of her acting career with Gangubai Kathiawadi, the director of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Later, she shared the screen with her husband Ranbir Kapoor for the first time, in the hit fantasy film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the romantic comedy that marks her reunion with popular star Ranveer Singh and senior filmmaker Karan Johar. She is expected to start shooting Jee Le Zaraa, the director of Farhan Akhtar, along with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra very soon.
